Overlooking the island of San Nicolás, Karraspio offers visitors the chance to take part in numerous sporting activities such as surfing, volleyball and sailing. There is also a promenade next to the road that takes us from Lekeitio to Karraspio, from where we can contemplate the beautiful views of the Biscayan coast.
Karraspio is a medium-sized beach and has a recreation area, tables and benches as well as bars and a hotel. There is a car park at the entrance.
This wave is suitable for beginner surfers. It needs a big swell to break. It has different waves that vary depending on the tide. The island of San Nicolás is just opposite and the series pass along its east side, where sometimes there is a quality left. It is a place of great beauty.
