Urko bidea is a pedestrian path that follows the Urko riverbed from Barinaga to Markina-Xemein, passing through Etxebarria. It is a space dedicated to leisure, to strolling, to enjoying the open air and to being in contact with nature, along a length of about 5 kilometres.
It is a peri-urban path that runs through rural, industrial and urban areas. Urko bidea is a different way of approaching the natural and cultural heritage, offering the possibility of getting to know places of great interest. The common thread and link between these enclaves is the river Urko itself, with a singular route, which draws marked meanders in its middle section.
